This book saved my life and my family, September 10, 2004—Recovering
The first edition helped me find
serenity and sobriety
in a way only God could have directed. I was on the
brink of destruction and this book helped me find my
way back. The influence was overwhelming. I have also
read the recent, expanded edition and use it to help
maintain my serenity and sobriety.
Prayer Steps to Serenity: Daily Quiet Time Edition
The daily readings reveal some of the
Biblical
truths found in the Twelve Steps without directly
working through a traditional Twelve Steps Program.
Taken from
Prayer Steps to Serenity The Twelve StepsJourney: New Serenity Prayer Edition, the new
Daily Quiet Time Edition does not include a specific
recovery program. As a gift book for someone in denial or
needing to work the Twelve Steps, it offers a gentle and subtle
introduction to a condensed version of the Twelve Steps.

Excellent Edition of Finney's
Sermons on Romans!
In this 25th Anniversary Edition, L.G. Parkhurst
does a wonderful job of bringing Finney's work
alive for the benefit of the today's reader.
The footnotes and additional commentary section
from Henry Cowles provides much food for thought,
both challenging and inspirational.

Excellent Compilation of Finney's Sermons on Romans!
Fantastic
compilation of lessons on Romans! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed
using this book as a study to help us grow in the knowledge of the
Lord. If people would get a hold of the understanding of the
scriptures as Finney taught them and would live out that
understanding, we would truly experience revival in this nation once
again! I recommend this study to anyone that would like a thorough
understanding of the book of Romans. I also enjoyed the thought
provoking questions that L.G. Parkhurst Jr. included at the end of
each chapter which greatly added to the books spiritual value. Great
book!
